Jean
Penny Jean has been in the entertainment business, performing her entire life. She started singing before she could walk and began entering talent shows at age three. Penny Jean truly loves being on stage. Growing up in a performance oriented family; her summers were filled with rehearsing for family variety shows. Penny and her family are very close, as she grew up just down the road from her entire extended family. They had many fun-filled gatherings in which creativity was developed through their original cabarets.
Penny Jean was crowned “Little Miss Crawford County” at age eight, her first of many similar titles. She sang for numerous high school events (and became very comfortable with the national anthem). At age sixteen, she attained the title of Grayling’s “Junior Miss”, with her amazing voice facilitating her success in the talent portion. During her senior year at Grayling High School, Penny Jean played the part of Sandy in the musical “Grease”. Since High School, she has performed at numerous charity events and is the lead singer of the variety band, “Gypsy North”.
Penny Jean is signed with Dharma Records and is currently working on the completion of her debut album. Penny, her husband Erich and her son Logan are currently residents of
Northern Michigan and are preparing to travel to further her singing career.
