The Jake Allen band will begin
touring this year with some great new material
as well as t-shirts and ep's for sale. Jake Allen
band will be kicking off the Jam Session on May
6, 2007 at the Ole Barn, Grayling, MI 6:00 P.M.
About The Band:
The Jake Allen Band - The band's music style is
Etheric Rock often straying away from typical
mainstream style. Each song on the new upcoming
album is diverse yet holds a certain theme throughout
its entirety. The songs are filled with musical
hooks and catchy lyrics that pull the listener
in from the start. The songs on the album make
up a conceptual outlook based around one simple
idea that many people can relate to. The music
molds together unique and often complex musical
elements with enough simplicity and listenability
to be labeled commercial.
Band Member Info:
Jake Allen - Lead Guitar, Vocals
Jake Allen is about etheric rock that pleases
the ear. Jake's father has been in the music business
for decades and has influenced Jake to write,
perform, and produce music since he was old enough
to understand music. Jake started playing keyboards
at a very young age and soon moved on to bass
guitar, drums, guitar, and any other instrument
he could get his hands on. He was in is first
band at age 11 and has participated in a number
of bands up to this point.
Luke Alderton - Bass Guitar
Luke Alderton is a very talented guitarist/bassist
from West Branch Michigan. He respects the music
and plays each part note for note.
He has expierence from playing in many local bands.
He is also very adaptive to playing different
genres of music, but favors the mellow and soothing
sound of acoustic style most. He started playing
guitar at age 10 and has been with it since and
just recently picked up bass guitar while playing
with Jake Allen. His influences are a wide variety
of artists such as Damien Rice, Led Zeppelin,
Modest Mouse, The Killers, Coldplay, and many
others. Another aspiring artists in his life was
his grandfather Patrick Mostyn who taught him
nearly everything he knows and influenced his
passion for music.
Adam Hoppe - Drums
Adam Hoppe has been playing music together with
Jake Allen for about 3 years. Jake and Adam have
a musical bond with each other to the point that
they can predict what the other will do next.
Adam was influenced by his father, Doug Hoppe,
as well. Adam's father has been around the world
with many bands as a Body Guard and pilot. Adam
joined his father on tour many times to learn
what touring is all about. Adam's original style
comes from a collage of many different music styles
such as progressive and industrial rock. Adam
has been dubbed by established musicians as the
most promising drummer for the next decade.
