Carrie Westbay is an singer/songwriter who has been performing and writing music for over 12 years. She started out vocally in public at age 9 and then learned to play french horn through the school's band program. Later she picked up trumpet in jazz band which she still incorporates into her music today. Carrie moved to Columbus Ohio after graduating- to check out the scene. Soon after moving there she learned to play acoustic guitar and write music with it. She moved back to MI 2 years later to pursue her talent in her home state. Carrie started playing out solo on acoustic guitar- her vocals carried her until she developed guitar skills. Now, Carrie is a full time working musician. She has teamed up with Dharma Records to bring her original music to life and spread her musical message to the masses. Her style is acoustic indie rock with a singer/songwriter base. Whether she is performing solo or with one of her several bands, Carries passion is always in the limelight.
